Computers have become the backbone of all workplaces. Every year as computer and electronic technology changes, what was once state-of-the-art becomes obsolete in a blink. Rather than dumping them as e-waste which is both harmful and a waste of valuable resource, Share-IT encourages municipalities, businesses and individuals to act responsibly when it comes to recycling their used computer systems and obsolete electronics.
In its mission to bridge the digital divide between the rich and the poor in the community, Share-IT offers the following services:
– TECHNOLOGY ACCESS
Share-IT collects, refurbishes and distributes used computers and peripherals to those less fortunate. Working in close partnerships with various agencies and municipalities, Share-IT provides computers to reduce the digital divide and empower the socially and economically marginalised into improving their quality of life.

Each system is installed with licensed software and tools to educate, empower and enable clients to maximize the technology benefit. The program also provides technical support to all clients after distribution of the systems.
